  1. What exactly is NASPA / TPE RoommateClick?
    NASPA / TPE RoommateClick is an online roommate listing and matching service that helps conference attendees find a roommate. It is not a real estate agency or brokerage, does not in any way participate in transactions between its users, and neither offers nor is qualified to offer advice regarding specific transactions.
  2. How do I sign up for NASPA / TPE RoommateClick?
    NASPA members who are eligible to use NASPA / TPE RoommateClick should have received a confirmation e-mail from NASPA with an authentication key code. Once this key is received, go to http://naspa.roommateclick.com/ and click on "Create your profile." Enter the authentication key code in the pop up window and click "Submit." The page should redirect you to our sign up page where you can create your profile.

    If you have not received a key please contact nvictoria@naspa.org.

  3. How do I contact NASPA / TPE RoommateClick customer support?
    Email us at NASPACS@RoommateClick.com or call us on (800) 216-9512 (between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm Eastern time, Monday through Friday). Please include in the email or be ready to tell us your full name and the email address that you used to register on the site.
  4. I am having problems logging in. Can you help?
    First, try logging out, closing your web browser, then sign in again. If this doesn't help, the issues you are experiencing may be due to "cookies." Please empty "cookies" periodically to ensure optimum functionality of NASPA / TPE RoommateClick on your computer. To empty "cookies," go into "Tools" on your browser's menu bar and select "Internet Options." Please click "Delete Cookies" from the window that opens. After logging out and restarting your web browser, things should be working properly.

  5. Why can't I find or contact someone who contacted me?
    If you receive such an error, and your spelling is correct, this indicates that a user has deactivated their account and is no longer on the site.
  6. What are my favorites?
    Favorites is a feature that you can use to bookmark profiles that you're interested in. You can send emails to all users on your Favorites without having to send them out individually.
  7. Who will be able to view my profile?
    NASPA / TPE affiliates may post and view roommate listings from any computer with access to the World Wide Web.

  8. Can I change my username or email address?
    You cannot change your username directly in your "edit profile" page, but we will happily do it for you. Email NASPA / TPE RoommateClick with your current username, your password and your new username and we will see to it. Remember that if someone else already has the name, you can't have it - so try to send us something unique or we may have to add some numbers to it.
  9. Can I upload photos to my profile?
    Yes. You can load up to 5 pictures of up to 200KB each, in JPEG or GIF format. Click on "photos" under "edit profile" in the left hand menu bar and follow the instructions. If you need assistance with photo uploads, you can always email them to us, along with your photos, at photohelp@roommateclick.com . A member of our team will make sure your photos get uploaded quickly to your profile.
  10. I've found a roommate but people are still emailing me. How do I remove my profile and delete my account?
    When you are ready to completely cancel your account, simply go click on "Deactivate" on the left-hand side of your homepage and you will be prompted to the appropriate page.
  11. Why does my account say its locked?
    An account can be locked by site administrators for a number of reasons. Please contact NASPACS@RoommateClick.com with your account information for specific details.
